1. Introduction & Compliance Scope

AgenorIT (ABN 29 644 447 263) is an Australian engineering consultancy committed to protecting the privacy of individuals and organisations we engage with. This Privacy Policy sets out how we collect, store, use, and disclose personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

2. Information We Collect

We may collect personal and business information including:

  • Contact details: Name, professional email address, phone number, organisation name, and job title when you submit an inquiry or schedule a consultation.
  • Technical specifications: Architecture documents, RFP briefs, project timelines, and technical requirements provided during project scoping.
  • Website analytics: Privacy-preserving telemetry such as browser type, approximate geolocation (city/country level), referring URL, and pages viewed. We do not use intrusive cross-site tracking cookies.

3. How We Use Your Information

We collect and process personal data exclusively for lawful business purposes, including:

  • Responding to technical inquiries, scoping engineering briefs, and preparing commercial proposals.
  • Executing agreed software development, cloud infrastructure, and data engineering contracts.
  • Complying with statutory tax, corporate, and regulatory obligations under Australian law.

4. Data Storage, Security & Residency

All electronic records and client communications are stored in secure, enterprise-grade cloud environments (including Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365) with data residency strictly pinned to Australian data centers (Australia East / Australia Southeast). We enforce Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), role-based access control, and encryption at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3).

5. Third-Party Disclosures

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. We may disclose information only to vetted operational service providers (such as email delivery platforms, cloud infrastructure hosts, and accounting systems) under strict confidentiality agreements, or when mandated by Australian law enforcement agencies.

6. Your Rights & Contact Details

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you or request corrections. For any privacy queries or complaints, please contact our privacy officer at info@agenorit.com.au.
